Biography

Susan L. Goetcheus is a partner at Sandlin Family Law Group. She received her B.A. in philosophy and religion from Virginia Commonwealth University. She graduated, cum laude, from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2006, where she was a member of the Law Journal, a constitutional law research assistant and interned at the North Carolina Court of Appeals for the Honorable Martha A. Geer. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Susan owned and operated Vertigo Diner/Poole's Diner. Susan is a Board-Certified Family Law Specialist, as well as a Certified Parent Coordinator. She is recognized by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers.

Susan's practice focuses on all aspects of family law, including child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, absolute divorce, domestic violence, separation agreements, appeals, property settlements and postnuptial and prenuptial agreements.
